About Dr. Laura Gerlach

Hello! I am Dr. Laura Gerlach. As an integrative pharmacist, I use my talents and experience to lead others step-by-step on their health journey. I love walking with others on their journey, learning about the incredible ways that our bodies work, and connecting all the pieces to restore our bodies to a better state.

The notion that we can go from anxiously surviving to peacefully thriving became a reality for me on my health journey. Looking back, I was a hot mess momma juggling and struggling to do all the things I thought I needed to do. Little did I know the toll that it took on my mind, body, and soul. Over the years, God changed my life in ways I never imagined.

It was not until I started investigating a better solution for my son's asthma disease that I realized that I needed a better solution for my health problems, too. I had a long list of seemingly insignificant issues that slowly surfaced over the years: cold intolerance, dry skin, acne, headaches, allergies, insomnia, brittle nails, hair loss, and hormone imbalances -and that is just part of the list! 

My health journey opened my eyes to new ways to resolve many health problems, and, thanks be to God, I am now thriving. Using a functional medicine approach, I made many lifestyle changes by slowly increasing the beneficial and decreasing the harmful. By giving my body the support it needed, I was able to heal the root causes of my health problems.

I believe that nutrition, rest, movement, community, stress management, and faith are the foundations for your best life and that medications are a bridge or last resort for many conditions. Right now thriving may seem impossible, but remember "with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26.
